Paul Shepherd, Yondan

Paul began his Aikido practice in 1977 at Slough Aikido Club and Oxford where he gained his Shodan with Kenetsuka Sensei in 1987. A great influence in Paul's life has been Mr. Smith and in 1989 Paul became a member of the West Midlands Aikikai, later the UKA. more>>>

Chris Locke, Sandan

Chris started aikido in 1977 in Leicester with David Lenton (yondan). From 1982 he trained with Kanetsuka Shihan and senseis Mike Holloway, Dee Chen and Eric Beake at Tenpukan dojo and later Shinmeikan dojo in London. In 1984 he started training at the Slough dojo under Jack Poole and then Paul Shepherd while still training regularly at Shinmeikan. more>>>

Ivor Cinderby, Nidan

Ivor started in Aikido in 1988 under Sensei Paul Shepherd at Slough Aikido Club, attaining the rank of Shodan in 1998 and then Nidan in 2004 as well as qualifying as an instructor in the same year. more>>>
